Well, another year, another blog post. Time flies, doesn’t it?
Nate and I will both be attending Kublacon 2009 this year, as we have done for the past few years. We always have a great time and we’ve been looking forward to it, and some gamer friends of ours are even flying in from out of town this year. As usual, I’ll be taking pictures and uploading them on the fly to the Roll 2d6 Flickr account, so subscribe to the RSS feed and it’ll be just like being there! Except that you can eat corn dogs in the comfort of your own home without having to pay $6 for them in the hotel lobby.
As a bonus, I also found my pictures from Kublacon 2005 and arranged those into another set on Flickr, so if you want to see what gaming was like back in those days, check it out.
Nate and I fully intend to have another post-Kublacon podcast episode, so look forward to that — and here’s hoping we can get it going again.
Thanks to all who are still reading this and staying subscribed.
Roll2d6 is back from the future! Or so I thought, seeing your Flickr feed. See you guys in the near future at Kubla — doesn’t look like either of you is running anything this year. Too bad; I was hoping for another game of Gutshot.
Nope, I was too busy around the beginning of the year to get anything together for the event cutoff in February. Oh well … maybe next year.

See, the oddest thing is that this was my 7th KublaCon… I appear in the backgrounds of several of your photos (over the years (including THIS year)) and yet, we have NEVER met!!!
Next year, that all changes!!!
Next year, if you see me walking around, say hi! Or maybe I’ll actually run a game or two next year … if so, sign up!

Well, see the problem there is that I don’t think I know what you look like!
OK. I’m sold. I’m so going to Kubla 2010 (flying in from DC).

Hope to see a podcast from you guys soon. I really liked hear from your guys. While, I blog mostly about RPGs, I really enjoy games in general. Hopefully, in the future I’ll be doing an RPG podcast with two other people.
Yeah, what Bonemaster said; sooner the better.
I agree with those guys!
My main focus is on miniature games, but you guys have a good chemistry that makes the shows fun to listen to. I also enjoy the fact that most of the stuff that you cover is not main stream stuff so I can get a sample of other things that are out there. The Western games and Battlestations are two great example of this.
Hope to hear you guys again soon!
Hi all,
While we are awaiting the triumphant return of Roll 2d6, I thought I would tell you all about a new podcast my buddy Mark and I have started up.

Hopefully Adam and Nate won’t get upset about this posting. But I also hope some of you will check out our new ‘cast!
Where’s that post-Kubla podcast, guys???
I’m here in Oz and I’m waiting for the post Kubla podcast too.
I was there and I still want to hear it!
It’s been recorded and is awaiting my editing …

I just listened to podcast #20 again and need to hear more about Star Trek games!!!…
(>_<)
Just kidding… …Where are you guys???…
Wow, that’s a lot of editing! : )
Any news on when the next episode will be posting?
Come on already! Just sit in a room and talk about peanut butter for 30 minutes. At least that’ll be something.
The podcast lives now…. Only in my memories….
Alright, what’s it going to cost us? Name your price.
Any chance of us getting Kublacon 2009 before Kublacon 2010 happens?
Seriously, though, I hope everything is OK with you guys…you’ve been off the airwaves for too long…

Hi Adam and Nate! Thought that I’d check in and see if a new Podcast had been added. I love the style you guys have and it seems so obvious that you’re good friends and enjoy gaming together. It really comes across in your shows and I really miss them. I’m back into gaming with a regular group and, to a large degree, it was the Roll 2d6 Podcasts that helped kindle the gaming flames for me again. You guys played and talked about a number of games that I’ve played over the years and went into others that I hadn’t which got me interested in finding them. I still think about your Podcasts from time to time and even recommended them to a friend just this past weekend. It’s such a huge let down to not see any new ones being put up. I know you guys aren’t getting paid for it so there’s no incentive to make any new ones other than for the love of gaming and to make your long time fans happy. I think I speak for all of us when I say please get together, sit down at the mics and talk some more about games. You’d make a lot of fans really, really happy!
Rick
If they could get just one person to game, they’ve done their job.
I just linked this article on my facebook account. it’s an interesting read for everyone.
